Jack Burns, composer, discussed his process with this track: “Yeah, so I wanted ‘Velvet Drive’ to give listeners a sense of late-night hazy highway cruising. To get that initial creativity flowing, I would loop the film Blade Runner on mute, giving me a visual prompt to score to. And not long after that, I had ‘Velvet Drive’.”
